I was sent these screen-printed linen tea towels by my blog- and etsy-friend, Susie of flowerpress. The graphic designs on them are beautiful, and now that I seem to be spending so much time each day washing and drying dishes, they are going to make my time in the kitchen much happier. And more stylish. Thank you, Susie!
She also very kindly sent me a piece of vintage barkcloth- it's mustard yellow with flowers and I felt compelled to use it straight away. So I made this cushion cover with it for our sofa which just happens to be a similar colour. Because I'm impatient and didn't have any square cushions around, I made the cover for a regular bed pillow from the linen cupboard- it's quite a cosy shape, I think.
