Couldn't resist posting one more picture of the landscape in the Marlborough Sounds. I made Tom stop the car so I could take the photo above: I love that low lingering cloud over the landforms.
Inspired by the picture of A and K on the swing (in my last post), I spent a bit of time thinking about black and white and how I could use it in my embroidery. While we were staying at the bach on the weekend, I made these two hand embroidered brooches- a feather and another with a small girl's silhouette- a kind of rustic wool cameo.
