We went for a drive on the weekend to visit a little bay where my family have had a bach for many years, and discovered that someone has put up a double-swing in a beech tree. The children could swing right out over the edge of the shore. I didn't have a turn because I worried it was a little precarious for someone of my size.
But I did have a look around Mum's garden there, and found lots of gorgeous things growing- even some pink cherry blossom (I think.) That evening, I made this simple little embroidery in honour of the garden there. The frame is a vintage metal one I found on etsy. It's almost like a little cake tin.
