* remembering about 'peanut brownie' biscuits, a childhood favourite of mine. And then making them, and then eating them. In case you'd like to, as well:
Peanut Brownies
125 g butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 and a 1/2 cups plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
3 Tb cocoa
1 cup peanuts (or other nuts), roasted.
Cream butter and sugar until light. Add egg and beat well, until mixture is smooth and glossy. Sift in flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa and mix well. Lastly add cooled nuts. Drop small spoonfuls of the mixture onto a greased baking tray and bake at 180 degrees C for about 15 mins.
