I've been wanting to make an elephant for a while, and when I received that yellow cherry print fabric in the post from my friend Helen I knew it would make good ears. Don't know why, I just thought 'ears' when I felt how soft it was. So now it is the ears of this butter-yellow elephant, and of course I couldn't stop at just one.
I made each elephant from sturdy linen fabric, but they have soft, floppy ears and tails. Two are for small friends of A and K, and one went into my shop update today, along with some other things.

* Have you seen the latest issue of Small Magazine? It's so very good. I especially love this feature.
* I have been receiving lots of great gocco-printed cards from the swap I mentioned a while ago. Thank you to my swap partners! I won't need new stationery for months.
* I'm considering beginning this embroidery project from the Purl Bee. Or maybe felting these. Or any of their projects, come to think of it.
