Misty

It's been raining off and on for over a week now. But rainy weather has it's benefits: in my case, I've stopped doing washing (it wouldn't get dry out there anyway) and started doing some organising around the house, including my sewing room/Tom's office. You'll be glad to hear that we can now open the door again and Tom's desk and filing cabinet are now free from pieces of fabric and sewing paraphenalia. A happy day, indeed.

I'll show you some pictures of my newly-arranged work space tomorrow, but for now- a wee fabric giveaway. There are three bundles, and due to their weight I am just going to offer them to New Zealand readers (if there are any that would like one of these!) Nearly all the fabric is vintage cotton and small-ish - good for applique, patchwork, etc. Just leave a comment here or email me at tinyhappy at gmail (dot) com with the one you'd like and i'll post it off in the morning.

Hi Melissa, I'd love the earthy tones one! Should I pay you for it? Send you something else fun? (Keep it a secret???)

Thanks, Nikki

ooh, could I please have the pink and purple bundle? Let me know if you'd like postage? Thank you!

I love the look of the blues!! Only if its no trouble, let me know $$. Thanks Melissa!

too late! ha ha - never mind! what a lovely thing to do - and look how many of us are in NZ!! *grin*

xx

Bugger, should have looked at this post earlier!! Lovely little bundles they are.

Never mind, I've been sipping red wine and cooking organic chicken cacciatore, which makes up for a whole lot really.

Alas! I don't have any use for smaller bits, and looks like I'm too late anywho.
You didn't happen to get some mail in the weekend did you? xx

..seeing those piles is making me itch to do some patchwork!..soon my trusty needles, soon...Cx

Damn I missed it! Oh well, snooze you lose. Stash tidying is so cool, especially when you come across bits and bobs you forgot you had.

Hi there, just stumbled across your blog and recognised (I think) the baby shoes. Are you in Nelson? If its you my Mum bought a pair of your shoes and took them to Cairns for my new niece. I got to see them on the way and too divine for words! If this is not you then nice to meet you anyway!

sounds like a very productive rainy day... lately when it's rained all i want to do is curl up in bed!
xoxo

Wow - look at all the kiwi crafters! I've just enjoyed a leisurely hour reading everyone's blogs.
